The town of Sonoma has more fine restaurants than any other single town in the Wine Country. Moreover, they are all within walking distance from the Thistle Dew Inn! Here is information about some of the ones we recommend most often. When planning your stay, you should consider making a reservation for dinner, especially on weekends and during the busy season from May-October. We've included the restaurant phone numbers for your convenience. Many restaurants offer online reservations, either by email or through the OpenTable.com system.

La Haye features a different artist on its walls each month, and a fresh and lively Mediterranean inspired menu created by master chef John McReynolds that ranges from Italy to Lebanon. DEPOT HOTEL: About 500 yards up First Street West (just around the corner) sits the Depot Hotel, featuring the Cucina Rustica of Chef Michael Ghilarducci. A beautiful poolside garden and superb menu of Italian food awaits the guest, and prices are very reasonable. Telephone: 707-938-2980
